Playing Games

Opening Valentine's

Time for Treats

To spare you the details of a less than romantic Valentine's Day, I will post some pictures of Brooklyn's party at school!:) I was the "host mom" for the party along with my friend Sharleen.

Keaton Mania

I apologize that these pictures are a little out of order. But still you can enjoy!

Having not been to Nampa to see my family since Christmas, the drive seemed to take longer than usual. Not to mention, that we had one very excited niece in the car and we heard, "are we almost there" every few minutes!!! The roads were awful, probably some of the worst we have seen, but we made it safely and were so ever grateful to the Lord for His traveling mercies!!

It was two very excited cousins that we took to see little Keaton early afternoon on Saturday. Even Brittan could hardly wait to see, "Baby Teeton!" From the minute she first saw the baby, Brooklyn was in love! Brent and Rochenda were wonderful about letting each one of the kids hold him, but it was Brooklyn who got the most time in. I think that she even beat most of the rest of the family. She was totally in awe and it made it all the more fun for everyone. She "offered to keep the him if Brent and Rochenda had a meeting that they needed to go to", wanted to know if they "wanted her to have him at Nana's house", didn't want to go to dinner with the rest of the family, and when she was made to, she couldn't get out of the resturant fast enough. She even passed up a trip to "Dilly's" (Dairy Queen) with Poppy just so she could get right back to the baby. I wish I could remember all the "things" that "Keaton said to her", but there were too many to remember. Needless to say, it was a wonderful and amazing experience for us all and we are each one so happy that he has made his entrance into our lives! We were so glad that we made long journey down to see him, we wouldn't have missed it for the world.

PS - Happy Birthday to Keaton's Mommy, she turns 33 on Wednesday!

Welcome - Keaton Ronald Crane

Congratulations are in order to Brent & Rochenda! It was 2:00 a.m. Lewiston time, 3:00 a.m. in Nampa, when I received the phone call that their little boy had indeed entered the world. What exciting news! So exciting that I couldn't go back to sleep for a couple of hours and am now paying for it.:) Here are the stats - his name is, Keaton Ronald(after Dr. James Keaton & my father) he weighs 9lbs. 1oz. & is 21 in. long, with a HUGE set of lungs. I hope to get to post pictures soon, but since the road is closed in between here are there we are currently unable to get there. Very disappointing! We'll keep you posted and again, congratulations to Brent and Rochenda.

100th Day of School

Today was the 100th Day of school for Brooklyn. I really can't believe how fast it has gone, it seems only last month they were just starting. In celebration of the 100th Day, each student was to bring a hundred items that were different, each being broken down into groups of 10's. Brooklyn took - pretzels, bubble gum, chocolate chips, tea bags, pasta noodles, balloons, vitamins, pennies, nuts, & sitckers. At school they had to show the class what they had collected and then choose one item to share with everyone. Brooklyn chose bubble gum, of course! For most of the day they focused on how much 100 is. They each made a 100 cereal necklace, had to color 100 balloons, tell what they would buy if they had $100.00 (Brooklyn said that she would buy a red purse??), etc. I thought it was a very creative idea of her teacher to celebrate this day and decided to post a picture of Brooklyn on her first day of school and on her 100th Day. Well, I have a 100 different things that I need to be doing so...hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon.
