A Little Christmas for Kindergarten

On Thursday, Dec. 20th, Brooklyn's class had their Christmas party. Mrs. Trigsted wanted to keep it simple since their attention span is not long, they don't need alot to have fun, and it would be close to the end of their day. They played games, etc, and then decorated their own Christmas Tree sugar cookie, which was also their snack, along with hot chocolate. The kids loved it! They each had their own frosting, sprinkles, M&M's, colored sugar, etc. And away they went. They didn't have a gift exchange, but rather each child was responsible to bring items for a gift basket for the local Crisis Pregnancy Center. This was an exciting thing for the kids and also taught them about giving, not just getting. By noon the party was over, cleaned up and the children were dismissed for Christmas Vacation. YEAH!!!

I have enjoyed reading all of your Christmas blogs and seeing your picture - this time of the year is so extra special with little kids isn't it?
